Description
The glazed door display cabinet developed as an alternative to the solid door variety during the latter part of the 17th century, when collecting oriental porcelain became fashionable. Teakwood Double Door Display Almirah with clear glass on all sides features crown on top followed by an array of spindles and a beautiful moulding, two glass shelves making three compartments and two openable doors, flanked by two drawers below. The light inside is to highlight the curio's displayed. This almirah is ideal for display of rare and curated artefacts and collections. This piece is hand finished using the unique six stage hand rub polish technique in Rosewood.
